Born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, Mateo has been pursuing photography and digital design for over five years. At first, Mateo found a strong love for art, specifically drawing manga from a very young age.
Through the years including high school, his passion was with pencil and paper. It wasn’t until 2015 when he was able to purchase his first camera, and 2016 when his mentor/ uncle guided him through his first steps of photography. Mateo quickly redirected his passion and decided to pursue photography as a career. Through the years Mateo has sharpened his artistic sword, shooting every opportunity coming his way. In a short period of time Mateo, has shocked the creative community in Salt Lake City, giving him the opportunity to work with some of the top local music artists and various local businesses, always keeping a high standard and bringing visions to life. As of 2021 he resides in Hoboken, New Jersey where he plans to take his art and vision to the top.
